ESK Marketing Services Ltd considers it important that the site and the app be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This page describes what we actually checked, how we checked it, and what has not been checked yet - including what is not yet complete.
1. What we do
The app is built Hebrew-first: the base HTML loads with dir="rtl", switching the interface to English changes the page direction live, and content that is inherently left-to-right - dates, times, email addresses, URLs and chord notation - is marked as such separately so it stays readable inside Hebrew text.
2. How we checked it, and what it covers and what it does not
On 2026-09-29 we ran an automated accessibility measurement on nine pages of this marketing site: the homepage, the terms of service, the privacy policy, the cancellations and refunds page, and our guide - each in Hebrew and in English. The measurement ran in a real Chromium browser, loading and running each page exactly as a visitor would see it.
Color contrast: of 971 text elements, 877 were actually compared against the background behind them, and 0 of those failed the threshold WCAG sets (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). The remaining 94 elements sit over an image or a gradient, with no single background color to compare against, so they were marked "not measured" - a category of their own. Most of them are on the homepage.
Keyboard focus indication: we ran real Tab keypresses across all nine pages, through an actual keyboard event in the browser. 122 focusable elements were found in total, and all 122 received a visible focus ring. No keyboard trap was found on any page. Note: a programmatic call to .focus() in code leaves the page without a visible focus ring in Chromium, and a tool relying on it can wrongly report no focus indication at all - this measurement was carried out through a real keypress only.
Checks determined by the HTML markup itself - the page's language, alternative text on images, heading order, the language of parts written in another language - passed 144 of 144 across the nine pages.
What this measurement does not cover: any screen inside the app itself (app.bandsharp.com). Only the nine marketing-site pages above were measured - the performance screen, the drag-and-drop boards and the in-app forms were not part of this check at all.
The measurement was done in a single browser engine (Chromium) and at a single screen width (1280 pixels) only. Safari and iOS browsers draw a focus ring differently, and a phone-width layout can change contrast where the background changes.
The measurement above is our own internal automated check. No externally certified accessibility auditor has reviewed the site or the app so far. We will update this page when such a review takes place.
3. Conformance level
The site and the app are built toward the accessibility guidelines known as WCAG, at level AA. The "how we checked it" section above describes how we actually check ourselves.
4. Known limitations
- There is no "skip to content" link at the top of pages yet.
- The "reduce motion" preference is honored on the gigs, materials and venues screens in the app; the remaining animated screens do not check it yet.
- The performance screen and the drag-and-drop boards in the app are not yet fully accessible by keyboard and screen reader. We are fixing them progressively.
5. Reporting a problem
If you hit a barrier, please tell us and we will address it: info@esk.marketing. We answer within two business days, telling you what we found and when it will be fixed - including when the fix itself will take a while.
